[edit] How it works
The BSA Winged Wheel made its debut in 1953 and was one of the few cycles to have a ‘powerwheel’ in the British market.
It was soon replaced with the mopeds which were faster, more stable and had gears. Although cycle attachments were now being displaced by mopeds, the Winged Wheel did maintain a market share and a number of units were sold.
