This ultra-slim design was an innovation. Unlike previous types, it had a compact and quiet induction motor. This did not protrude from the main body and allowed the hairdryer to be sleek and stylish.

The heating element is mounted in front of a fan connected to an electric motor. This causes hot air to be blown out of the end of the dryer, which can be use to evaporate water on the hair.
